A FUNKY
ART INSPIRED CHILDCARE PROGRAM
Kindergarten - 4th Graders
Add Water and Stir Ink After-School Program 2:45-6:00 pm
We spend our after school hours at Hillside school where your child is dismissed to us in the cafeteria and have 30 minutes of playground play (weather permitting), we head inside where children wash-up and eat a home brought nutritious snack. After that the fun continues with projects to enrich your child socially, creatively and even academically (shh..). We offer time for homework plus homework assistance. After homework is done, it is followed by a final half hour of down time to enjoy quality time with good friends.

Daily After School Care
Enriching Projects
Add Water and Stir Ink is for all those who love to learn, create and problem solve. Offered at Hillside school, our in-house workshops and project hour runs from 4:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. These workshops and/or projects add a level of creative structure to our afternoons, giving our students tools and tricks to help them grow, learn and have fun. They ask daily, "what's our project for the day", and are very excited to learn some new skills. We work on creative science, wire sculpture, creating jewelry from unusual materials, tessalations and 2-D designs of all kinds.
In the spring and early fall when the weather is great, we offer in house "FREE SKATE" Fridays. We allow the students to bring in skateboards with all their safety gear and give them an hour (or more) for skating. We put on music and have a great time. We have interns and staff members who are skateboarders and help to teach our crew how to feel confident on a board. We invite other skaters in the community to come by and enjoy sometime with us because we do believe it takes a village to raise children. We not only want our students to feel confident on a skateboard, but to feel trust in their communities and to make friends with people they thought they had nothing in common with.
